FreeSheets publishes spreadsheet templates that are built and tested as real, working .xlsx files — never styled empty grids. The aim is simple: hand you a template that opens cleanly and works on the first try, paired with a short guide that answers your question up front.

How the templates are made

Every template on this site is built as a real .xlsx workbook with working formulas — not a styled empty grid. Before publishing, each file is checked to open cleanly in Excel, LibreOffice Calc, and Google Sheets import, and every formula on the page matches the formula in the file, cell for cell. Spotted a broken formula or a file that won't open? Tell us on the contact page and it gets fixed.

Why answer-first guides

Nobody wants to scroll past an essay to find one ribbon path. Every guide here states the complete answer in its first paragraph, then earns the rest of the page with exact steps, working formulas, and a template that applies them.
