Template license

Every template on FreeSheets is free for personal and commercial use. You may download, modify, and use the files in your household or business, and share them with colleagues. You may not resell the templates, redistribute them as downloads on another website, or present them as your own product.

No warranty

Templates and guides are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Spreadsheets calculate what their formulas say — review results before relying on them for financial, tax, payroll, or legal decisions. Nothing on this site is financial, tax, or legal advice; the mileage log, for example, deliberately leaves the deduction rate blank so you can verify the current figure with the IRS.

Trademarks

This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation. Excel is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. References to Excel are descriptive: the templates are files for use in spreadsheet applications, including Excel, LibreOffice Calc, and Google Sheets.

Content and liability

We work to keep every step and formula accurate for current software versions, but software changes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeSheets is not liable for losses arising from use of the site or its files. If a template misbehaves, tell us and we'll fix it.
