This policy explains what data FreeSheets collects, why, and the choices you have. Short version: the site is static, downloads require no account, and the only personal data we ever hold is an email address you choose to give us.

What we collect

• Nothing for downloads. Templates download directly — no signup, no email gate, no tracking parameters on the files.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages help people, using cookies or similar identifiers. IP anonymization is enabled by default in GA4.
• Newsletter. If you subscribe to Template of the Week, your email address is stored by our email provider and used only to send that newsletter. Every message includes an unsubscribe link.

Advertising cookies

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use advertising cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

• You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of many third-party advertising cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
• Visitors in the EEA/UK see a consent banner before any advertising cookies are set, via Google's certified consent management platform.

Advertising disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links, always marked "affiliate." If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never decide what we recommend: templates are free either way, and guides recommend the same steps whether or not a product link exists. Ads are served by Google AdSense and are visually separated from download buttons and editorial content.

Data sharing and retention

We never sell personal data. Analytics data lives in Google Analytics under its retention settings; newsletter addresses live with our email provider until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing deletes you from the list.
